Ending Homelessness. Rebuilding Lives.

When:  January 25, 2012 at 1:00pm and will end at 3:00pm.

Where:  St. Luke’s/Calvert Offices

3655 Calvert Street NW

Washington, DC

What:  The Wellness and Recovery workshop is a workshop aimed to educate any member of the community about our philosophy and approach.  The workshop works to demonstrate the issues that play in the approach and recovery stage, which the homeless community goes through with CCHFP.  This event will also explain details concerning the hardships of addiction, trauma, mental illness, and then explain the recovery period and approach.  Overall, the event will explain Friendship Places’ belief that any homeless person has the right and the ability to recover and become a part of community.  Concentrating on one person at a time and with the involvement of the community, we can achieve our goal.
