Ending Homelessness. Rebuilding Lives.

When:  January 24, 2012

Where:  The Welcome Center (two blocks from the Tenleytown Metro station)

4713 Wisconsin Avenue NW

Washington, DC

What:  Open Doors Discussion at the Welcome Center.  Open Doors is a neighborhood gathering aimed to discuss homelessness and our community’s response to it.

An informal, free 45 minute gathering, Open Doors is a gathering for individuals and groups curious to learn how we are helping our homeless neighbors.  Join us at our drop-in center to discuss who is homeless, why they are homeless and what we are doing TODAY to make a difference in their lives.  Friendship Place gives everyone in our community – individuals, schools, businesses, congregations, and community groups – the opportunity to participate in creating positive solutions.

This is a community discussion, not a fundraising event.

Light refreshments and food will be provided.

If you plan to attend, please confirm in advance with Ben Bradburn at, (202) 503-2963.

If you are unable to attend this discussion, we’ll gladly schedule an Open Doors gathering at a time and location convenient to you.

Contact Michael O’Neill at (202) 364-1419 x23 to plan a meeting.
